CUCUTENI archaeological site.
Cucuteni is a village near Iasi, in Moldova, NE of Romania. Eponymus
site of the Cucuteni-Tripoly civilization, represented by the beauteful figurines and vases in Romania, Rep. of Moldova and Ukraine. Preceded by the Precucuteni, Gumelnita and Hamangia cultures.
